Pray Over Your Finances
Before you open a spreadsheet, open your Bible. Ask God to reveal any area where fear, shame, or greed has taken root. Invite Him into every financial decision.
Know Your Numbers
Write down your monthly income and every expense. No judgment — just the truth. You cannot steward what you cannot see. Awareness is the first act of wisdom.
Give First, Then Plan
Honor God with the firstfruits of your income before anything else. Then build your budget with what remains. This is the order Scripture prescribes — and it works.
Build a Margin
Aim to save at least one month of expenses as a reserve. This is not hoarding — it is wisdom. A financial margin gives you the freedom to respond to God's call without panic.
Eliminate Debt Intentionally
Debt is not a sin, but it is a form of bondage. Create a plan to pay it off — starting with the smallest balance or highest interest rate. Every debt paid is a step toward freedom.
Invest in Eternity
Ask yourself: how can my money outlive me? Whether through giving, funding ministry, or building generational wealth for your family, invest with an eternal perspective.
